Tonight Hadley decided to go to bed at 4:45, so it was no surprise that she was up at 8:30 for a snack and a chat.

"You smell that?" she asked as she made sniffing noises and looking around the living room.

"Smell what?" I asked.

"It's an animal pooping outside" she answered.

"Really? What animal? A squirrel?" I probe.

"A snake?" Jonathan prods.

"No!!! There's no snake! It's the froggies. They need to wear Hayden's purple diapers."
