Our New Years Eve was uneventful in the grand scheme of things, but quite lovely. We went to the zoo during the day and had friends over to celebrate New Years in Europe over mini meatloaves, mashed potatoes, spinach salad, sparkly apple cider and brownies. The girls were in bed only 15 minutes past bedtime and didn't even wake when the neighbors shot off fireworks. A solid nights sleep was a gift.
