We could have gone round and round on It's a Small World for hours. Between the lollipop that Grandma produced from her "in case of emergency" stash, the air conditioned ride, boat and colorful sites, my girls were quieter than they are even sleeping. It was so fun to do this with them, something that dates this far back into my childhood.
I'm still reeling!

wordless wednesday: be still my heart
Hadley doesn't take to men. She has eyes only for her daddy.
So when she took her Uncle Sean's (my brother) hand at Disneyland, I fell apart.
Be still my heart...

wordless wednesday: sound the sirens
I'm still pretty new to the Midwest, so the severe storms are really unnerving to me. Especially when there are big, dark, swirly scary clouds and the storm sirens are sounding. Let's add being in the car with your two babies, alone, stuck at a red light... This particular storm didn't transpire into much more than a lot of rain, but it frightened me. Later that night we had a tornado warning.
The next day North Minneapolis was ravaged by a tornado. As was Missouri. My thoughts are with the victims of these storms.

wordless wednesday: toes in the grass
Yesterday, while daddy and Hadley were napping, Hayden and I snuck out into the backyard. Barefoot. And walked through the moist grass. Minnesota is finally seeing some lovely spring weather, so it was a can't miss day to get outside.
For Mother's Day, J gave me my first DSLR. I've been playing with it, mostly photos of the girls, but here are a couple of nature in our backyard.
I think these may be Lily of the Valley getting close to a bloom. But I have a black thumb and know little about plants and flowers. It's pretty spectacular to watch these grow before our eyes.

wordless wednesday: trouble with a capital H
Last night after baths, Hadley and Hayden decided to play in our coat/shoe closet. They were happy doing it, so I happily let them continue. Until it got quiet... This is what I found.

wordless wednesday: baby's first christmas
We tried to visit Santa on three different occasions to get that traditional
baby crying with Santa photo. But according to his sign, he was either
feeding his reindeer, too tired or the line was three hours long.
So I sprung for an impromptu photo session, instead, to document
Hayden's first Christmas.

wordless wednesday: one of my favorite pictures
Dear Readers,
I've been a bad blogger lately and I sincerely apologize. I promise to ramp up in the coming days, including a big (business) announcement (no, I am not pregnant), a guest post and hopefully some more giveaways.
In the mean time, here is one of my favorite photos of Hadley (my mom took it) for Wordless Wednesday.
Enjoy,
Minimal Mom
