I think if someone asked me for my best advice for preparing for a second child I would tell them this:

The experience will not be the same as it was with your first child. You may be emotionally prepared, but don't expect personalities and developmental milestone timing to be the same. They are different people. Period.

So, in case you were planning to ask, there is my best piece of advice.
