Last week Hadley learned about apples in school. Her curriculum was full of doing apple art, singing apple songs, reading apple books and eating apples. So it was only natural that she asked to go apple picking. And we are, after all, in Minnesota. Land of apples.
So we went to a nearby apple farm on Saturday to apple pick. Only, it was so busy we didn't get to apple pick. Instead, we walked through the orchard. Played on the jungle gym. Slid down slides. Said "hello" to the goats. Road the choo choo train. Ran through the pumpkin patch. Sipped on apple cider. It was a fun day, though we will be going back to actually pick some apples soon.
Here are some pictures from our day.
